Our math activities included measuring, stacking, storing, and counting. At the end of the week, we carved a pumpkin to look like the one in our story.

In seventh grade ELA today, when all of their other work was done, some of the students played a game called "Hitchhiker", a game that practices improv skills and they used it to study their vocabulary words for this week. I gave them a vocabulary word, and the students watching gave them a scenario, and they had to act out the scenario and, in their dialogue, use the vocabulary word I had given them. It seems like they had fun!
