Hello! I'm Bill Johnson. I will be teaching 5th grade this year. This is my second year teaching 5th grade, coming from Rantoul previously. I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, reading, and being outside. I'm excited to be a part of New Holland-Middletown Elementary.
Hello! I'm Marie Zirkelbach. I will be teaching 3rd grade this year. For the last 5 years I have been working in Mount Pulaski in RTI. If I'm not chauffeuring my four kiddos around you can find me outside or curl up with a good book. I can't wait to begin this year in New Holland Middletown Elementary.

New Holland-Middletown School district is excited to welcome Kiefer Smith to the district as our new K-8 Phyisical Education and Health Instructor as well as Athletic Director. Kiefer comes to us most recently from Smithville School District in Missouri where he taught for the past 4 years. Kiefer has a 6 year old who brings him joy every day. Kiefer is excited about teaching our students skills that they will use for a lifetime. Welcome Kiefer!

Good Morning! Don't forget that tomorrow, Wednesday 7/24/24 is in person registration from 2-6 pm. We have partnered with Tremont bank for a supply drive. Some student school supplies will be on hand during registration on a first come, first served basis. Parents may also sign up students for supplies needed on site. We can't wait to see you tomorrow!

Opening day for students will be August 14th at 8:05 am, breakfast served at 7:45. Dismissal is at 1:30pm. Rural bus schedules will be as close to last year as possible. Parents should allow a ten-minute deviation from the projected schedule.
Registration- All parents are encouraged to register in person. However online registration will be available as well.
Registration Time- Wednesday July 24, from 2pm-6pm in the library.
Fees-There will only be a Technology fee of $30.00 for all students.
8th Graders-Graduation Gowns are $20.00 per student.
Physical/Health Information
Students participating in any sport including cheerleading must have a current physical on file.
Kindergarten-Students entering kindergarten must have the following up to date items: General Health Physical, Immunization Records, Dental Exam, Eye Exam, and a Certified Copy of their Birth Certificate at the time of Registration.
Kindergarten parents are asked to bring their children on the first day to aid the bus schedule. Kindergartens will NOT be dropped off after school if there is no parent/or supervising adult at the bus stop.
5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades-must have P.E. clothes, colors must be gray and black.
6th Grade- A current General Health Physical, including all updated immunization records must be completed and turned into the office no later than October 15th 2024.
K, 2nd, and 6th Grades- All Illinois children entering these grades are required to have a dental examination. This must be completed by May 9th 2025.
All School Lunches and Breakfast are FREE. Children may be dropped off at the school no earlier than 7:45am for the free breakfast.

Open gym for girls' basketball at CEL begins this Thursday from 4-5 p.m.
It’s not too late to sign up for Crusader Girls basketball camp! The deadline has been extended to ensure everyone gets signed up. This camp is open to girls in grades 2-8 for the 2024-2025 school year that are a part of our Crusader co-op (Carroll Catholic, New Holland Middletown, Zion Lutheran Lincoln, Hartsburg Emden). Lincoln Community High School is hosting a band parent meeting for all incoming freshman interested in joining the Marching Railers. Current band membership is not required to join; only a willingness and desire to learn and be a member of this great team, even if they are in other extracurricular activities such as football, dance or cheerleading. The meeting will take place on May 16, 2024 at 5:30pm in the LCHS cafeteria. We cannot wait to meet our newest members.
