3rd grade had some visitors to hear about the National landmarks they built for Stem. 3rd grade built the Statue of Liberty, the Capitol, Mount Rushmore and Golden Gate Bridge.
Indoor recess fun. A battle ship/titanic, train and a house.
Basedball Update: the game tomorrow will be at 6:30 at LJHS. The game before us starts at 4:30. We will not start early. There is a chance we could start later, but not earlier. No practice today.

Today in stem we experimented how many books a single piece of paper could hold up.
Students were trying to build the tallest tower that would not fall over out of Playdoh. After several attempts and strategies, one student was able to make a 7 inch tall tower! This activity worked on problem solving skills, critical thinking skills, and measurement.
Baseball game reminders for this week -- Tuesday at home vs. WLB and Wednesday at home vs. Hartem. All 4:30 start.

The boys' baseball game scheduled with Greenview tomorrow 9/16 has been cancelled. There will be practice for everyone from 4-5:30.

Students in 5th grade are learning about Mixtures and Solutions. Today they made a popular solution: Kool-aid! Grab a cup of science!
Hello everyone. This message is for the parents who have a boy in 3rd and 4th grade. The following is from Mrs. Fuiten at CCS.
"I know it’s a bit early, but 3rd and 4th grade boys basketball usually starts around November. Before we start scheduling games, I need to know how many kids are interested. Please email me if your child is interested in playing 3rd and 4th grade boys basketball this season. It usually runs from November-February. Thank you"

Sixth grade in ELA, working hard on answering questions on the most recent chapter of the novel we've been working on, Towers Falling. We also reviewed vocabulary words today, preparing to take our vocabulary quiz on Friday!
