Hello everyone. This message is for the parents who have a boy in 3rd and 4th grade. The following is from Mrs. Fuiten at CCS.
"I know it’s a bit early, but 3rd and 4th grade boys basketball usually starts around November. Before we start scheduling games, I need to know how many kids are interested. Please email me if your child is interested in playing 3rd and 4th grade boys basketball this season. It usually runs from November-February. Thank you"
If your young man is willing to play basketball for the 3rd and 4th grade team please send me an email at ksmith@nhm88.com so I can pass that information to her. NHM will not provide transportation for practices or games . If you have any questions or concerns please let me know.
Thank you and have a great day.

It was Fun Friday in the Special Education room. One student used fractions to create her own trail mix and figure out how much they used in total during math. Another student was building masterpieces. Hands-on activities are always a hit!

We are working on learning parts of speech in Special Education and the kids are having so much fun creating silly stories with Mad Libs while they learn.

Attention Baseball Parents: This is Howie Fuiten’s last year coaching Carroll baseball. Some parents have the idea to give him a gift for helping so many young boys over the years. If you would like to donate towards gift card(s) for IGA and/or the Meat Market, these will be purchased for him.
If you would like to donate towards the gift, you can give money to Kim Alley. You can also Venmo Kim @Kim-Alley-8.
Thanks so much!
Kim Alley (Evan and Bryson’s mom)
It's Math Monday! For morning work, students play a version of war. They have to see who can add or subtract the fastest the two shown cards!

After a very productive week in seventh grade ELA, practicing many new vocabulary words and reading and studying the novel Refugee by Alan Gratz, the seventh graders earned a bit of free time to end the Friday class period. They've worked very hard this week. Happy Friday!
