The address for the baseball game tomorrow is Schlitt Park, 2415 Sharon Dr, Springfield, IL 62704. It is a turf field so no metal cleats, sunflower seeds, or gum.
Also, baseball pictures have been moved to September 6th at 3:30. We don’t typically practice on Friday, but with the Logan County Tournament being the next day, Coach Fuiten wants the boys to hit in the batting cages until after pictures until 5:00.
Kindergarten has been discussing rules, laws and those in authority in Social Studies. During today's discussion, we learned about the order of authority at school: principal, teacher, student. Some students weren't sure who the principal was so Mrs. Shaver was kind enough to take a minute with the class.

Reminder to parents: Today Wednesday 8/28 is a 1:30 dismissal!
Baseball practice on Wednesday will be from 4-5 at the LCHS batting cages where there are more shaded areas. Boys can wear shorts.
It is Mail Call Monday in the Special Education classroom! Each student gets a note addressed to them checking-in, giving them an overview of what is happening for the week. They then write and address a note for someone they choose.
