Our last day learning about simple machines. The lesson was all about wheels. To finish the lesson, students had to draw 4 pictures of things with wheels.

An added science bonus for Kindergarten was pictures and discussion of things we have been seeing in the sky: northern lights, the comet, and clouds.

Don't forget -- our first quarter awards assembly is this morning at 9 am! Hope you can join us to celebrate the accomplishments of our students!

Don't forget to set up your student's eWallet account for cashless, stress-less shopping. Friends and family can even contribute funds! Mrs. Lewison will periodically be checking online for newly set up ewallets to print out and have ready at the register! Set one up here: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/newhollandmiddletownes. #ScholasticBookFairs

Stem this week students were challenged to build a haunted house using only paper and tape.

This week's letter writing practice was to Mrs. Shaver. She does a lot for the students and the kids in Special Education wanted to show their appreciation and gratitude for all she does.

In Science we have been learning about why you need so many different flowers. We played a gardening game to practice what we have been learning.
