Upcoming 8th grade details:
-The 8th grade trip is Friday, May 9th. We leave at 7 AM, so please be at the school by 6:45 AM. We will be taking the activity bus. Bring breakfast to eat on the way, if you like. The school will also have breakfast available to take that morning. Tickets and all day dining for 8th graders have been purchased already using the money they have raised. Arrival time at Six Flags is estimated to be at 10:30 AM. If you want something other than the food and drinks provided, you may bring your own money to purchase what you like. It is not required, though. Estimated time to arrive home is 7 PM. Permission slips will come home next week and will be due by May 5th.
-Graduation is May 15th at 7 PM. Please be at the school at 6:30 PM, so we can start promptly at 7 PM after getting corsages and boutonnieres on. There will be practice for 8th graders that morning, starting at 8:30 AM. Graduation cap and gown pictures will be at 9 AM, and then there will be rehearsal to practice how the graduation ceremony will go. We will feed 8th graders pizza after practicing and then you are free to leave to go home for the rest of the day, likely around 11 AM. Please be sure to arrange a ride home.
-There will be no attendance from 8th graders after graduation, with the exception of students who earned the 4th quarter incentive trip on May 20th, attending the 4th quarter awards ceremony on May 23rd, or participating in field day on May 27th.
